irish night clubs

Here at “Living The Irish Life”, we love a good night out, so we’ve decided to break down our favourite spots in Ireland playing host to the biggest DJs in House music. Got any recommendations? Let us know…

1. District 8 – Dublin

The perfect spot for Techno fans… District 8 on Francis Street brings the biggest names to Dublin with the likes of Maya Jane Coles, Loco Dice, Ben Sims & Levon Vincent all set to play this November.

The pop up club/venue takes things back to basics with world class sound systems and stunning visuals.

2. Pygmalion – Dublin

Opened in 2009, Pygmalion (or Pyg) is open 7 days a week playing the best in Soul and Techno music with Nick Curly, Nicky Siano & Eamon Harkin set to play in November.

If that’s not all… it doubles up as a Tapas restaurant!

3. Shine – Belfast

Shine in Belfast is a legendary club which opened up in 1995 by Alan Simms. With a capacity of 3000 it’s massive and is the place to go this Boxing Night with Ben Klock, Icarus and more already set to play.

4. Lush! @ Kelly’s – Portrush

A little different to the others on the list, Lush is the place to go if you like your music a little less heavier! Situated in Portrush since 1996, this nightclub has hosted the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard, MK, Fatboy Slim and many more over the past few months.

Open every Saturday and Wednesday (for their student night), the club has been recent redeveloped and has been voted in DJ Mag’s top 100 clubs on many occasions!

5. The Button Factory – Dublin

The Button Factory is the new name of the refurbished Temple Bar Music Centre. This intimate venue plays host to Live bands and DJs with the likes of Kölsch, Dubfire, Boddika played in recent months. Hot Chip, Joris Voorn & Jamie XX lined up to play in November.
